1. Operator and contact
BreedTrail is operated by Srex Digital ApS (CVR 44123967), c/o Stig Rex Rørkær, Yrsavej 4, 2. th., 5200 Odense V, Denmark.
Questions, complaints, cancellation and withdrawal notices can be sent to [email protected] or made by telephone on +45 42 31 13 11.
2. Eligibility and customers
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. The launch market is Denmark. BreedTrail is offered to individual and professional animal breeders and their invited teams.
If you use BreedTrail for a business or breeding organisation, you confirm that you may bind that organisation. Mandatory consumer rights apply only where you act as a consumer and cannot be waived by these Terms.
3. Accounts, teams and access
- Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and keep devices secure.
- Breeding-workspace administrators control invitations, roles and animal access. They must invite only authorised people and remove access promptly when it is no longer needed.
- Each person must use their own account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report suspected misuse.
- Offline records may wait on a device before synchronisation. Keep the app connected when practical and resolve reported conflicts.
4. The service and veterinary safety
BreedTrail provides animal record keeping, reminders, collaboration and, only for explicitly supported species, reproductive timelines, cohort information and reviewed guidance. Dates and ranges are estimates and individual animals vary.
BreedTrail is informational support, not veterinary diagnosis, treatment, emergency monitoring or a substitute for a veterinarian. Contact a veterinarian whenever you are concerned and follow the veterinarian’s instructions over app content.
5. Plans, prices and payment
At the effective date, the invited beta is free and public paid prices are not enabled. If paid plans are offered, the final price, billing period and plan limits are shown before purchase. Web prices are shown inclusive of applicable VAT; App Store and Google Play purchases use the store’s local price and billing terms.
Subscriptions renew for the billing period shown at checkout unless cancelled. Stripe processes web payments. Apple or Google processes store payments, with RevenueCat used to synchronise mobile entitlements.
There is no free trial or introductory offer unless the checkout or store listing expressly states one.
6. Consumer withdrawal and immediate performance
A Danish consumer normally has 14 days from entering a service agreement to withdraw. Before paid access starts immediately, BreedTrail asks the consumer to expressly request performance during that period.
If you withdraw after expressly requesting that the service begin, BreedTrail may charge a proportionate amount for service supplied up to the withdrawal notice. The withdrawal right ends only when the service has been fully performed and the legal requirements for that consequence have been met.
Send an unambiguous withdrawal notice to Srex Digital ApS at [email protected] or the registered postal address. Include the account email and purchase date, but do not include passwords, veterinary records or payment-card details.
- Optional model withdrawal wording: “I give notice that I withdraw from my contract for [plan/service], ordered on [date].” Add your name, postal address and the date; sign only if sent on paper.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the checkout or mandatory law says otherwise. Access remains available until then. Web subscriptions are managed through the billing portal; store subscriptions are managed through Apple or Google.
BreedTrail does not promise refunds beyond mandatory consumer rights. A cancellation stops future renewal and is not itself a request for a refund or exercise of the withdrawal right.
8. Your records and permitted use
You retain rights in records, notes and media you submit. You grant BreedTrail the limited permission needed to host, back up, transform, synchronise and display them to authorised members and to operate the service.
- Do not upload content unlawfully or without authority.
- Do not use BreedTrail to harm an animal or person, impersonate someone, bypass access controls, probe security, scrape the service or interfere with other users.
- Do not rely on the service as the sole record where law, professional standards or animal welfare require another record or direct supervision.
9. Availability, changes and beta status
The beta may contain errors, change or be unavailable. BreedTrail uses reasonable care but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, delivery of every notification, or that every offline operation will synchronise immediately.
Features may change for security, legal, veterinary-safety or product reasons. Material adverse changes will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.
10. Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protection or liability for intent or gross negligence.
Subject to mandatory law, BreedTrail is not responsible for decisions made instead of obtaining veterinary advice, for unauthorised actions by workspace members, or for indirect business loss. Consumers retain all statutory remedies for a non-conforming digital service.
11. Suspension, termination and account deletion
BreedTrail may restrict an account where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use, serious breach or protection of users and animals. Where appropriate, notice and a chance to remedy will be given.
You may stop using BreedTrail and request account deletion in settings. A breeding-workspace administrator may need to transfer administration first. Some payment and accounting records may be retained where law requires.
12. Changes to these Terms
The version and effective date appear above. Material changes require renewed acceptance before continued use when required. The acceptance record is kept separately from the Privacy Notice and from optional analytics or research consent.
13. Governing law and complaints
Danish law governs these Terms, without removing mandatory protection available to a consumer. Disputes may be brought before the competent Danish courts.
Please contact [email protected] first so Srex Digital ApS can try to resolve the complaint. An eligible consumer may then use the complaint portal of Nævnenes Hus, starting with the Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints and, where available, continuing to the Consumer Complaints Board.
